A Real Thing

(heard during the dinner for a RC sailboat regatta held several weeks before the election)

 

Sailor 1: Over lunch I helped (a female sailor who had not performed as well as hoped) get her boat tuned up and sailing well.

 

Sailor 2: I noticed she did better in the afternoon.

 

Sailor 1: Ya, she showed a LOT of grit, and a LOT of determination to have such a frustrating morning, and then turn it around for such a good afternoon.  She just showed some REAL grit.  She... She is just, just, just is a real Sarah Palin!  Just a real Sarah Palin!
