Child: What is a generation?

 

(parent explains)

 

Child: Ya, like on Star Wars when the song before the start says it brings it to a whole new generation!

 

Child: Why do Darth Vader and Luke fight?

 

Parent: Darth Vader wants Luke to turn to the dark side, and if will not then not let him become a Jedi.  Luke wants to protect himself

 

Child;  Why does he want to kill Luke If he does not want to turn to the dark side?

 

Parent: Because if Luke becomes a good Jedi he will stop Darth Vader from ruling the universe

 

Child: Oh.  Does Luke want to rule the universe?

 

Parent:  No, he just wants the universe to be good

 

Child: Oh, he wants it to be good so he can just fit in and fit in and be happy in the universe
