Cards

(while eating lunch at a local restaurant)

 

Child 2: (while holding up a cardboard drink coaster)  Can we take these cards home?

 

Parent: Sure

 

Child 2: Yes!  We can keep them

 

Child 3: WOOHOO!!!!  Yeah!  We can take them home and play the game with them

 

Child 2: We can't play the game.  We can just take them and have them as cards

 

Child 3: I know!  They are cards, and we can use them for games, for ABCs, for learning and all kinds of things!
