Aunt: What did you get for Christmas?

 

Child: I got polly pockets, my brothers both got shotguns, my dad, he really didn't get anything, and my mom got a plastic cup!

 

(interpretation): I got polly pockets, my brothers got nerf guns, my dad got stuff I don't understand, and my mom got (among other things) a cup (matching the cupboard full of nice new kid cups to replace the stacks of Rudy's cups).
