Texas People

(Child, age 4, talking into dead cell phone now serving as a kid toy)

 

Child: Here dad, its uncle Nate.

 

(Parent talks with pretend caller)

 

Parent: Here you are back, he said he still has a lot more he wants to talk to you about.

 

(Child talks into phone for a while then flips it closed)

 

Child: Uncle Nate said that he doesn't want to talk to me anymore because he doesn't like Texas people

 

Child: I am going to send him a picture with my phone, then when he sees it he might like Texas and Texas people

 

(child holds up phone, presses some buttons, then looks at the screen for a few moments before talking into the phone again)

 

Child (very excited): Uncle Nate got the picture, and now that he has seen it he thinks Texas is good and he like Texas people!
